Yesterday we received our balikbayan box tito and tita packed from the Philippines which contains old valuables stuffs like pictures, jewelry etc. this things is the things that we cannot bring during the time of our departure because of the NAIA rules which states that you can bring luggage in a certain weight, so in short this stuffs were excess. So I decided open it and check my things to see if it is complete, to my surprise I saw my old CD which I thought it was lost long time ago!
It was the first album Sandwich which then compose of Raymund Marasigan(guitar/vocs)Marc Abaya(guitar/vocs), Diego Catillo(lead guitar/vocs), Myrene Academia(bass/backup vocs), and Mike Dizon(drums). It was released when the time boy bands ruled the radio waves and the mainstream music scene. The album has a hit single Butterfly Carnival and Cheese Factor set to 9, which won NU Rock Awards based on my research hehehe!
So I decided to play it on my laptop and BOOM! flashbacks in my mind started to happen! Specially when i played my favorite song on the album like Di Sinasadya, Sakyan and Jetlag, Which has distinct strong guitar riffs, unlike latest album of sandwich which in my opinion SUCKS! well anyway if you want to have this album go to the nearest record bars and try to find it! don't waste your precious time this album is a classic! so i doubt it if the record bars still sell it. good luck! this is my highly recommended album if you like post punk music..

Most embarrassing moment!
Last night while on my friends house in Parkway dringking a couple of Red Horse beer, my bassist and a friend Jesse texted me and said that he want to have a inuman session w/ me so I said sure why not! But he want to go somewhere else not in my house so i said sige ba text mo na lang ako pag papunta ka na dto..
After a few hours of waiting to his text, I feel sleepy and tipsy because of the alcohol that gradually slipping thru my mind..and then suddenly he texted me and said where do I want to meet him? I said we meet in Gutsons Morato because its near on Parkway, so he agreed with me an says ok!
So my other friends including my sister decided to hitch with us back home so i said ok..after we go back home Jesse asked me where we going? So i said Gerardos na lang near ABS CBN ok cge kaw bahala..
We arrived at Gerardos at 11 pm the bar was full, then after drinking a couple of San Mig Light Jesse texted Juanli our drummer, and said that we were on Gerardos and ask that if he wants to come with us. Juanli replyd and says ok! After fifteen minutes juanli arrived. And after that Juanli ordered another set of bucket of San Mig Light..so the situation defines the quote "mahaba habang inuman."
2 hrs passed Juanli decided to text a girl friend of his named Juls which I met once in party with Juanli, and ask her if she wants to come with us Juls decide to join the inuman session..to make the story short after minutes of kwentuhan with Jesse about boxing and stuff the topic shifted to Prince Hamed Naseem the boxer that was full of showmanship and beated by Juan Marco Barrera in boxing fight, so I told Jesse that he should watch that boxer full of comedy on YouTube, to give some idea about that boxer I demonstrated how he fight while sitting and how he dodge to his opponents punches.
And while demonstrating it suddenly out of nowhere i fell sideways with my chair! the reason i don't know why! Jesse and Juanli suddenly laugh at me even the waiter who assisted me getting up, even Juls! and even other people on the bar looking at me was shocked to what happen and all the night the topic was me how i fell! and I feel that other people was laughing at me secretly! whew! well the lesson? hehehe!:D
