(The picture above looks very much like Kamuning, Q.C.)
Yup that's 1970's! that's the time when your mom and dad still dating each other, while attending a shindig party! groovy isn't it?? If time machine is real, i want to use it and go to 1970's where rock and roll lives! hehe! that all we can hear is people shouting "Give Peace A Chance":)
According to the stories of my father, back in the 70's Quezon City and Manila has a different setting and environment, the people were more disciplined. Imagine that time, people used to walk on pedestrian lane only! while crossing the street, unlike now you can cross anywhere you like hehehehe! And the environment?? Before in Manila rarely you can see a trash on the streets and in public places. But now as you can see, Quezon City and Manila are like hell! polluted air, poor sanitation, and much worst growing population.
But there's a disadvantage living in the 70's, remember this is the time were President Marcos implement Marshall law, one of the darkest time in Philippine history. Just imagine, you were a ordinary college student who were studying in one biggest university in the Philippines, suddenly on one fine day while hanging out with your friends, 3 people try to arrest or kidnapped you and said you were accused of rebellion against government..and then POOF! your gone even your friends or your family didn't know what happen to you except for the people that kidnapped you. And you've belong to growing list desaparecido here in Philippines.
But for me 70's in general is a cool era, the fashion, people, music, cars etc. and no matter what, i still want to be there, to see what it's look like!
ENJOY!
